Pearl Jam – The Fixer

New single ‘The Fixer’ from my favorite rock band ‘Pearl Jam’ who i have spent way too much money on the past 10 years. Taken from their forthcoming album ‘Backspacer’ due out sometime in September. Very very poppy for Pearl Jam, Ed sounds happy for a change….but its growing on me and by the sound of the album reviews this ones going to be a good one. Tour coming up too…. im going to have to sell the house!

Mountain Gorilla

Just started work on a mountain gorilla oil painting. Canvas is 40cm x 60cm mdf primed with white gesso (3 coats) and sanded to give a smooth finish. Pencil outline is then drawn onto the canvas and sealed with a thin acrylic coat using Burnt Umber and Burnt Sienna which gives me a rough guideline and then allowed to dry.
